But big boulders are another story. This is Fernald's Neck Preserve,
where we swatted mosquitoes, I mean hiked along a beautiful trail,
then swam in the lake just beyond. This balanced rock was carried by a
glacier who knows how far and settled neatly in the woods for us to
wonder over today. If ice flows can do that, imagine a good dose of
faith!

Hey this reminds me of a hike me and the Boy Scouts went on (no comments)
there were whole indents in the mountain for 100 feet carved by glaciers
some other rocks moved like that one
yes but did u lift any of them? ya i didnt think so. lol. where did this hike take place?
