the cabin, Sean nailed the screens back, and Flapjack... well, he just
"encouraged" us.
We decided last night we'd just set up the tent (plan B) and build a
fire. The cabin has been taken over by the Winged Death, aka Mosquitoes.
After a fruitless attempt at building a fire (the rain and dampening
humidity made it impossible), we settled in for the night. That tent
was a sanctuary if ever there was one. No Buzzing Death, but in the
night UB heard distant howls (there are coyote in the area) and
something ran REALLY fast through camp in the middle of the night.
Woohoo! From the wild side...

Greetings, Leathermen,
We anticipate you'll be drying some wood tomorrow for the coyote BarBQ. The girls are enjoying the unfolding of your journey, especially the photos. We'd say have fun and God Bless, but you seem to be doing just fine on both accounts.
Yikes! Sounds like a scary night! Glad you made it through... Love to you both!
